What's in a name?

What's in a name, for a rose by any other name smells as sweet... This is a famous yet true statement made to illustrate that a name is nothing more than a name. A name is nothing more than an identification tag given to a person or a thing. For example, if there is this unknown object found in country A and the people there give it a name, say Orchidia. Then there's this same unknown object also found in country B, but the people call it Mandelia. It's basically the same object and the people in the two different countries know the same properties of this object, even with the different name, this particular object is still this object because of it's essence, characteristics, appearance, etc etc. Therefore, what's the moral of the story? It's just important to have an identity, although you already have a name.

Everyone has a name to be called by, but not everyone has an identity whom others can know you by. We are all created uniquely by GOD, so we should not imitate others or try to make ourselves be like someone we know. Instead, we should work on our strengths and make others know us for what we are.

Everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses. How we decide to create that identity will depend on how we portray ourselves to others, whether we decide to show them more of our strengths or our weaknesses. Remember, always be true to yourself and others... You are what you are and no one can decide who you should be other than yourself, reason being that you can choose to be influenced or not.
